An American Artist: a prodigious painter, an engaging speaker, a gifted sculptor, a struggling writer and an occasional performer, Bryan Perrin received his BFA in painting from Ohio University in 1983. He started his professional career in art and instruction, working in schools and art camps and exhibiting in galleries and clubs and private collections. Bryan also has had an extensive career both as an illustrator and scenic artist as well as a decorative finish painter. He has enjoyed moving in the inner circles of the art world’s outer fringe of Toledo Ohio, Cocoa Beach Florida, Jersey City New Jersey, & Woodstock New York.
I like to work from memory.
My work is reflective of patterns and imagery of the world and life around me. It is striving for a conveyance of thought or emotion, hoping to move the viewer of my art in the same way that the subject moved me.
